raising funds

for cystic Fibrosis

The Sunshine Coast Latin Dance Festival holds a special place in our hearts to honour the memory of a beautiful soul and dance friend, Kari-Lee Birrell (nee Venning), who lost her fight at a young age of 25 to Cystic Fibrosis.

Unfortunately there are 54 babies, children, teenagers and adults living with Cystic Fibrosis on the Sunshine Coast and they need our help.

Our mission is to raise $54,000, in the hopes of providing each Sunshine Coast family at least $1,000 to help fund medical equipment, medication, physiotherapy sessions, hospital visits, accommodation for the parents and parking, and activities to support their daily physical regime.

  • Look our for fundraising opportunities to win tickets!

  • Attending our next festival - 31 May to 2 June 2019.

Everyone involved will be helping improve the lives of those who struggle every day just to take a breath. Cystic Fibrosis families suffer tremendous financially burden sourcing treatment for their family member living with this life limiting disease, of which there is no cure.

In memory of

Kari-Lee Birrell
